Tsukiame
With a rich culture and abundance of technological advancements that belie its smaller size, Tsukiame is an exotic country to the far West of the planet.
All who visit this budding country leave feeling welcomed, satiated, and remarkably lighter in their wallets.
If you’re fortunate enough to ever go, always bow with your eyes closed when meeting someone new.

A Closer Look
Tsukiame is simultaneously one of the most advanced places on the planet while also being one of the most rural. This drastic dichotomy is primarily because the country’s geography is notoriously difficult to build in, and people also simply prefer to leave things undisturbed. As such, many rural areas still retain the quaint charms from the older world.
Though, it’s always a little strange to see farmhouses with the latest holographic TV screen projectors, the people enjoy this. They can experience the thrill of modern living in the bustling cities nearby, but also lead the relaxed pace of a simpler life just an hour’s ride away from the hustle and noise.
The maglev trains zip from city to city with ease and speed, but it’s not uncommon to need near expedition-worthy vehicles to make it further into the countryside. People often say if you go to visit, choose one: City touring or trail trekking. You won’t have the time or energy for both.
Strawberries, in all their delicious sweetness, are also the national fruit and delicacy of note for Tsukiame as a whole. Which is little wonder with how abundantly they grow here! Yes, the extent to which the people of Nyuhanami in particular have mastered the art of crafting strawberries into delectable treats tantalizes the tastebuds of all who wish to come here.
The People and Their Culture

You know someone has a very strong lineage from Tsukiame when their hair has a pastel texture to it and their eyebrows are smaller and mostly circular dots above the inner eye. Throughout all the varied ethnicities of Eotera, theirs is the most distinguishable.
Much of the Tsukiame people greatly value civility, etiquette, and proper speech; almost to the point of it being a rule of law in and of itself.
Which actually stands in stark contrast – another oxymoron – of Tsukiame’s odd prevalence for organized gang activities in its major metropoli. Though you’re generally only a target if you yourself happen to be an opposing gang member. Just don’t join any gangs while you’re there, and you should be fine.
One thing that is absolute however: Most people agree worldwide that cuisine here is top-notch no matter where in the country you go. There’s no need to reserve a seat at a 10 Star Restaurant to have some of the best food of your life. That’s just food in general in Tsukiame.
Oh! And for those who have ever wondered as to why Tsukiamyns bow with their eyes closed upon greeting, it’s quite the long and interesting tale having to do with the Xyrian occupation centuries ago. But, the short version is this: To them, it proves that you have nothing to hide.
Local Phrase: “Mind your manners.”
