Allied Nation States

The Allied Nation States were founded as a means to ease the suffering and strife of these then warring city-states, post Eoteran Renaissance.

It takes up the majority of one the largest land masses on Eotera and it was formed from the union of many smaller nations. As they joined, the allied peoples truly began to prosper.

Called the ANS for short, it is renowned for having the most robust and extensive public transportation system in the world, making it a convenient destination for foreign visitors.

A Closer Look

Diversity. That is what distinguishes the ANS. This country composed of multiple smaller districts contains almost every biome found on this planet, while also being home to just about every ethnicity and culture. In almost all regards, the Allied Nation States has everything; a microcosm of Eotera as a whole.

The Kiretez Mountains are of particular note. Even though they are within the borders of a few districts, and share allegiance to the alliance, it still regards itself as a sovereign nation. It’s quite clear as to why, with even the comforts of modern travel making the mountain passes treacherous at best, and completely impassable in the winter.

Additionally, the ANS founded the first National Parks with the entirety of the Tevi District being a preserve in and of itself. Likewise, the Eoteran Heritage & Culture Association began here, as a means to keep the past intact as the world rapidly pushes towards the future.

And, because there are so many customs found within this huge country, it can seem like there are celebrations and festivals happening every other week. Standing in stark contrast to how things were a few centuries before, this peaceful coexistence is a marvel to behold.

The People and Their Culture

Being the “melting pot” of Eotera, it’s difficult to pin down an exact person or practice that exemplifies the Allied Nation States as a whole. However, the slight majority of people who live here are still those descended from the original opposing nations of Leradil and Kaedia that occupied this area, but a bit more mixed because of all the time that has passed.

These individuals tend to be of average build, fair skin that burns a bit easily from the sun, and hair that stays within the blonde, brown, and blue hues. Their eyes are almost always of a congruent shade resembling their hair as well.

Competition though, is something that clearly defines much of the culture in the ANS. Whether it’s sports, business, or digital endeavors, almost all individuals have a clear ambition to rise to the top someway, somehow. And nowhere is that more clear than at Ohckon Prime, the nation’s capital and the world’s center of all eSports, entertainment, and sporting events.
