Eoteran Holidays
While each country still celebrates its own unique heritage and history, Eotera is remarkable in that its global community is quite cohesive.
This is most apparent in a few of the internationally celebrated holidays that are shared by all peoples. Why don’t we take a moment to learn about a few of them? Plus, we’ll touch on a couple of the smaller, but special, nationally celebrated days.
International Holidays
Winter’s Giving
Less of a day, and more of a week, that takes place in the 2nd week of December. Though this isn’t always Winter time for all Eoterans, it’s still celebrated in the same manner with the same name. It is a time when people spend time together and give thanks for the loved ones in their lives.
Decorating with lights and colors is customary and a symbol of the vividness loved ones bring to ones’ world. Gifts are not a usual part of the tradition, but are given on rare occasions.
New Growth Celebration
Also known as Lover’s Day, it is a celebration of the feelings that grow in early Spring on March 12. Just as the flowers bloom, so do our hearts!
Mother’s Day
Celebrated in honor of mothers, motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of moms in society. It is celebrated worldwide on May 31st.
Founding Day
Observed the very same day the Global Council was founded on July 8th. Internationally recognized as a day everyone has off work.

Winter's Giving Week (December 14th - 21st)
Meant to provide warmth during the coldest time of the year, the “giving” is the intentional time spent with loved ones far away. Literal gifts are rare, so if you get one, there’s a very personal reason as to why.
Uhldranyan Holiday
Midnight Sun’s Glory
